I have an upcoming appointment with Tara. She is truly amazing! I showed her a photo of the style I wanted a couple of months ago. She cut the style exactly how I wanted it. She touched up my roots and my brows the same time. I have always requested her ever since. Joanne is amazing with Highlights! I've had highlights by Joanne Many times in the past. Tara doesn't do foils. Both are two of the best hair stylists in that salon! I highly recommend them! They've upgraded the place fairly recently. The atmosphere is excellent! Looks like a high end salon without high end prices!

I had a fantastic experience at Lemon Tree in Port Jeff today! Rosa gave me a beautiful haircut with perfect front angles—just what I wanted. I’ve been coming to this salon since 2021 and always leave happy. Shabana, the owner, is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the entire staff is amazing. I’ve mostly gotten my haircuts from Jen, who is wonderful, but recently, I’ve been loving the way Rosa cuts my hair as well. This is definitely my favorite salon! Highly recommend!

Update 3/27/24 - Alright. I rarely review places, so if I’m leaving a review - I’m more than happy with my service. Lemon Tree is reasonably priced so that I feel I can adequately tip my stylist without breaking the bank. DARRIUS. I’ve found my stylist! Darrius takes his time and does such a good job. He did exactly what I asked and then made it better. He’s also so fun and easy to talk to. Thank you SO MUCH Darrius😊 Original: Jaqueline was so sweet and did such a great job! I went to Lemon Tree Salon yesterday for the first time! I was greeted by friendly employees which gave me a good feeling to start. I had Katelynn trim my hair. I always see Donna when I go for my hair cuts. She's friendly , helpful & always gets you in her chair on time & you leave feeling fabulous.

It has got $8 for haircut on Monday/Tuesday. I always have had buzz cuts (no. 2) each and every time. They charged me $5 in two occasions and $8 for several other occasions. I wish they would charge me $5 consistently.😁. Maybe, some barbers did some trimming (but there was not much to trim after a buzz cut) and they considered it slightly more than a buzz cut ?! But $5 or $8 is the cheapest anyway. Sometimes, or often , they have coupon for $5 one level buzz cut. Then, it's certainly $5. Mar. 2025: I have used the one level buzz cut in Centereach Lemontree often . I like it.

It's been 5 years since my last professional haircut. In no time, you cleaned up my mess and brought my hair back to life.

I booked with Kelly for a vivid color I originally was going to do one color and went with two colors pink and purple. The style and color came out absolutely gorgeous and Kelley took the time to address any concerns and didn’t miss any details! She is super sweet and talented she’s my go to from now on!

I had blond streaks put in. The amazing thing about it was that they got the correct color the first time! Other places much more expensive never do! They are very helpful and listen to what you are asking for ! ❤️

LOVE the cut I got from Naomi! I have a mix of waves and curls, and now every morning I take it down and it falls right into place with extremely minimal styling. Great volume, great texture, and also surprisingly only $30, even though most places upcharge me for long, thick hair. Will definitely be a repeat customer for as long as I'm in town!

I don’t remember the last time I got a haircut where I enjoyed the experience and left loving my haircut. Jordan was amazing, she let me close my eyes and just zen. I don’t have words for how great she made my experience from the wash, to the cut, to the end, her work and touch was so so wonderful. Stylist was great, very sweet girl. I took a star away for the company policies. When booking my appointment I chose long, thick hair which is understandably more expensive. But what I disagree with and feel is ridiculous, is that you get charged for every bowl of product after the first. So, you are getting double charged for extra product, crazy. Anyway, my highlights look great but I probably will not be returning because I feel they price gouge. I’ve never paid as much for highlights.

I went here very skeptical because the last place I went (not Lemontree) to get just a trim chopped 8 inches of if my hair when I'm trying to grow it out. My hair grows very slow due to medication and that was devastating. I received a gift certificate for "the works" from my husband and I finally got enough courage to go. I was scheduled with Amanda and let me tell you......I have never been so confident in someone. I threw all of my ideas at her, she gave me what I was looking for and more, I left there with my head held so high, all of the employees complimented my hair and it really boosted my self confidence and made me feel so good! She truly listened, involved me in every step, asked questions the whole time, plus we share similar interests. I felt like she was going above and beyond to do her job. Thank you a million times, see you in 3 months! You have a lifetime client!

Lemon Tree is the best! All the girls are so friendly and great at their jobs. Miranda is absolutely amazing! She really talks to her clients and makes sure they understand every aspect of their appointment. They do accept walk-in’s but I would highly recommend making an appointment. Today was my second time visiting this hair salon. Amelia did an amazing job with the highlights but the final price was much higher than originally quoted. Because she used a lot of product in my thick & long hair, I guess it’s understandable but the price total was $39 more than expected. Anyway, I am very pleased with the results and experience that Amelia had! 😃 I straightened my hair at home myself and you can really see the highlights shining thru!

Rebecca did amazing. I came in with about an inch and a half of grow out (a dark brown with salt and pepper and then white at the temples and dyed ends that were faded). She put a beautiful dark red on my hair and it came out fantastic. Rebecca than cut my hair (short on the sides and longer on top) and textured it. It looks healthy and full of volume now instead of being pushed back in a hairband. I came in embarrassed about my hair and left feeling more confident and my age. My husband had nothing but compliments. My mother (in Wisconsin) was a beautician for 50 years and she gives Rebecca an A+.

Lemon Tree in New Hyde Park is tops in all around care for your hair female or male (my sons have gone here too😉)

I recently had the most amazing experience at Lemon Tree Hair Salon thanks to the incredibly talented stylist, Lauren. From the initial consultation, I knew I was in good hands. Lauren was so professional and truly listened to what I wanted. I was looking for an all-over color, low-maintenance styling, and a cut that would give me volume and boost my confidence. Lauren knew exactly how to get me there while prioritizing the health of my hair. She understood my vision perfectly! The results are absolutely stunning. My color is gorgeous, the style is easy to manage, and my hair has never looked so voluminous. But beyond her technical skills, Lauren is also a wonderful person. She's incredibly friendly, professional, and gave me some fantastic advice on how to care for my hair. We even bonded over being moms, which made the whole experience feel so much more personal. Lauren made me feel understood and never judged, and her sweet demeanor made the entire appointment a joy. She was also punctual, which I really appreciate. I can't recommend Lauren at Lemon Tree Hair Salon enough! If you're looking for a stylist who listens, understands your needs, and delivers incredible results, she's the one to see. I’ve used both Rosa and Heather and they’re both terrific hairdressers (coming from a hairdresser). They both give great haircuts.

Rosanna was great! I just wanted a simple haircut -nothing too expensive. She understood completely. I was impressed with the results. I will go back for sure! Next time I’ll try a moisturizer treatment with my cut.

I absolutely love this salon! I see Lauren for haircuts and blowouts and she is amazing! She is so friendly, caring and talented. My hair always looks and feels amazing. The first time I came in I needed quite a bit cut off. Lauren let me know what I needed to do to have healthy hair but also let me choose how much to cut off. It was very comforting and I left feeling refreshed and looking great. The entire salon has a friendly and easy going vibe with great customer service. Services are priced very fair! I had my eyebrows done by Sam and I definitely recommend her!! Eyebrows looked great and they were not red or puffy afterwards.

I absolutely love it here. as soon as you walk in, everybody makes you feel like they’ve known you for years. I had Angela do my hair. She is absolutely amazing. Walked me through every step. had her cut my hair I told her I had past experiences where nobody listened to how short I wanted it so she would cut a little bit off and then check with me before going any further. I will never get my hair done at any other place.

I love this place cause all I needed was a cut and go - just a trim - so when I walked and saw Joy - my favorite hair cutter!! was working that day, she was able to fit me in between her other customers because I was only a 15 minute appointment And my cut and go came out wonderfully and it was only $15

Even though I do not always have the same stylist, you can tell the stylists are meticulously chosen to ensure the satisfaction of their customers. I can revisit this place whenever I need to ensure my hair is kept in great condition. At Lemon Tree, every haircut is guaranteed a wash with shampoo and conditioner if you choose to do one. This eliminates one of my biggest pet peeves when getting a haircut: those little hairs that stick around all day after the cut. Additionally, the venue's atmosphere is stunning: the space feels so open because the walls are covered with mirrors from floor to ceiling, the green and yellow theme promotes brightness and joyfulness, and it smells very clean, refreshing, and professional. The procedures practiced by this business are made to promote customer satisfaction in more than just a great haircut.

I appreciated how she took the time to recommend products that would work for my hair, but never made me feel pressured to buy anything. I’ve been to the stylist Christina quite a few times now and I love not only her service, but her as well! She’s a pleasure to be around and does amazing work. My request was vibrant pink hair, so I took this idea to her and because I did still have some previous blue color left on the tips of my hair, she came up with the idea of purple as well. The result is GORGEOUS!!! (My hair didn’t take very well to the colors at first but with patience and an extra session, we got the desired results.) Attached I have a before, mid, and after. Highly recommend this place!
